映画『007』でジェームズ・ボンドの愛車（ボンドカー）のとして登場するイギリスの高級車アストン・マーチン。
ロゴは、古代エジプト人が崇めた「スカラベ」という昆虫の羽がモチーフになった。
サミー・デイヴィスによるデザインで、ベントレーがル・マンで4連覇した時のドライバーであり、芸術家でもあった。
彼は古代エジプト文化に非常に興味があったという。 アストン・マーチンが初めてル・マンに出場したときに、このエンブレムが使われた。
1987年、フォード・モーターの傘下になってからは、フォントに「オプティマ」を採用した。
